Leone hosted her first and largest expo, in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. This expo was a collective exhibition of more than 500 oil paintings.
Today, Leone resides in Radio Kootwijk, a quaint village located in the neck of the woods, in the centre of the Netherlands. Here, she can be found at the Radio Kootwijk Kunst Centrum. An Art centre for all levels of Artist.
In addition to the establishing and running of several studio-schools in South Africa, Leone also established another studio-gallery-school, namely TonkinsonARTmasters.

In September 2009, Leone, as an active Artist and member of the europARTexpo team, will join the guest Artists in hosting the unforgettable europARTexpo 2009.
Mieke Diekmann, the owner of
first realised her passion for organising activities in 2005, when she was asked to do something to attract an audience to an abandoned shop in the shopping mall of Villa Arena in Amsterdam. Armed with 1000 square meters, Mieke successfully organised 3 exhibitions, running consecutively for two months and accommodating the works of 25 Artists. Needless to say it was a great success.
The experience left Mieke on a relentless search for a new home with the possibility for an Art Gallery of her own, in Loenen Gld. With great determination Mieke realized her dream and now is the proud owner of the 't Art Gallery Arthuus.
Here, Mieke offers an eight week programme to the local Artists of the Netherlands – Each marketing programme, with a different group of Artists. With extreme pride, Mieke also organizes an annual exhibition for her art students who study under her Art Mastership.
In March of 2009, Mieke met Leone Tonkinson, the architect of the europARTexpo. All Mieke knew was that Leone was organizing a large exhibition in Radio Kootwijk. After a wealth of phone calls and more e-mail correspondence, Mieke and Leone became friends and now Mieke is fully involved in a search for local talent, in the Netherlands, while Leone, on the other hand, has more time to focus on her International Artists.
