Dear Artist,
Congratulations and welcome to the planning of the europARTexpo. The following information is for our attending Artists, what to do and where to go and when you may entre Building A, to design and set up your stalls.
Agenda:
Stand builders only
· Monday, August, 31,- Security plan in action.
- The stand builders will occupy the inside of Building A from 8:00 - 18:00. Please note that only the Organizers of the 2009 europARTexpo, the group Artists of Gioania and the South African artist: Sheena Ridley are allowed into Building A during construction.
Artists access only
Tuesday, September, 1, from 8h00 – 14h00.
- All Artists have access to Building A from 8:00 to 16:00.
- All Artists are required to report to the Curator: Mieke Diekman to be assigned their stalls, between 8:00 - 10:00.
- Artists have until 16:00 to design and set up their stalls.
- Please collect your membership and expo cards from Leone Tonkinson.
Open to public

· Sunday, September, 6, 18h00 – 20h00.

Artists information
- Please make arrangements for the collection and return of all your art work.
- Bring your own tool-kit: hammer, nails, pins, tape, etc.
- Artists are responsible for the assembly and dismantling their own work.
- Compulsory - Your country flag.
- Cameras allowed.
- Artists are responsible for the ordering of lunch packets at the expo.
- All Artist are required to install their own work and to pay a deposit on the collection of hanging apparatus for the installation of paintings. Description: packet of chains with hooks.
- Wall space: light grey panels with one spot light per shuttle of 2 meters.
- Floor space: one spot light per shuttle of 2 meters.
- As the above elements are hired items, the organizers cannot allow alterations to be made to the stands to attain a different height, colors and changes to the upholstery or the light fixtures. Text or other such expressions other than those belonging to the exhibition cannot be allowed. However, special requests or installations should be made well in advance.
Stands
There are 3 types of stands.
Wall space:
- 7 linear meters
- € ... per day.
- Size limit: 2,4 meters ( height ) x 7 meters ( linear meters in length ).
Floor space:
- 10m2 floor area
- excluding pedestals
- = € ... per day
- Size limit: 5 tons ( weight ) x 10 meters ( height ). Artists may apply for an exception. Artists are required to submit installation diagrams with the application forms.
Expo pedistals - optional extra:
These are the standard sizes of the pedestals available at € 20 each, per day.
Conditions:
- All Artists are required to make their own arrangements for the collection and return of their own work.
- Artists are required to hang, install, present and display their own work.
- Each Artist is responsible for their own marketing material inside their stall, i.e. business cards, folders, etc.
- All 2D as well as 3D art works or sculpture must be displayed off the floor.
- Artists are required to submit an illustration of the installation of any art work which exceeds, 3 meters in height.
- The organizers reserve the right to request changes or the removal of any art works for the following reasons:
- A health risk in accordance to government health regulations or other.
- A safety risk to fellow artists and / or the expo and / or our visitors.
- The organizers reserve the right to permit changes to the positioning and layout of the stalls to facilitate special or very large pieces. The Organizers’ decision is final.
Allocation of stand:
- Allocation of stands to artists will depend on the order of registration and prompt payment.
- The organizers will try their best to assist as far as possible in preferences as long as size requests remain within the modular system of the expo layout.
